This page describes the web site management methods with reference to the personal information of the users who consult it.

This is an advisory which is also directed, pursuant to article 13 of Italian Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 - "Personal data protection code", to those who interact with the Alfalux web services digitally from www.alfa-lux.it, the home page of the official Alfalux web site.

The advisory is directed only for the Alfalux web site and not for other external web sites which may be reached by the user through links.


THE “OWNER" OF THE DATA PROCESSING

Following consultation of this web site data relative to identified or identifiable persons may be processed.
The “owner” of the data processing is Alfalux, with headquarters on Via della Repubblica, 16 - 42014 Roteglia di Castellarano (RE).


DATA PROCESSING LOCATION

The data processing connected with the services of this web site takes place at the aforementioned Alfalux headquarters and is managed only by technical personnel from the Office appointed to the processing or possibly by personnel in charge of occasional maintenance operations.

No data stemming from the web service is divulged or disclosed.

The personal data provided by users who send requests for informative material to be sent to them (CD-ROM, newsletter, samples, annual reports, replies to queries, documents and provisions, etc.) may be used only for the purpose of carrying out the requested service or operation and is disclosed to third parties only if necessary for this purpose.


TYPE OF DATA PROCESSED

Navigation data

The information systems and software procedures which perform the functions of this website allow the acquisition, during their operation, of some personal data, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

This is information which is gathered to be associated with identified involved parties but which, by its very nature could, through processing and association with data kept by third parties, allow the users to be identified.

IP addresses or domain names of computers utilised by users who connect to the site fall into this category of data as well as URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time requested, the method utilised in sending the request to the server, the side of the file obtained in reply, the numeric code indicating the status of the reply given by the server (success, error, etc.) and other parameters relative to the user's operating system and computer environment.

This data is utilised only to obtain anonymous statistical information regarding the use of the site and to verify its correction functionality and are cancelled immediately after processing. The data could be utilised for assessment of responsibility in the event of any computer crimes to the damage of the site: with the exception of this possibility, at present the data on web contacts does not remain for more than seven days.


Data provided voluntarily by the user

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of an electronic mail to the addresses indicated on this site implies the subsequent acquisition of the sender's address, necessary to reply to the requests as well as any other personal data inserted in the communication.

Specific summary advisories will be progressively shown or displayed on the web site pages prepared for specific services on request.


COOKIES

Cookies are not used to transmit personal information, nor are "persistent cookies" of any type use, that is, user tracking systems.

The use of "session cookies" (which are not permanently stored on the user's computer and which disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (made up of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow safe and efficient exploration of the web site.

The "session cookies" used on this web site preclude the use of other digital techniques which are potentially compromising to the confidentiality of the users' navigation and which do not allow acquisition of the user's personal identification data.


VOLUNTARY NATURE OF DATA TRANSFER

Besides what has been specified for navigation data, the user is free to provide the personal data indicated on the request forms to Alfalux, or in any case indicated during contact with the Office for reminders to sent informative material or other communications.

Failure to provide this data may result in the impossibility of obtaining the requested service.

For completeness it should be remembered that in some cases (which are not the subject of ordinary management of this web site) the Antitrust Authority may request news and information pursuant to Art. 157 of Italian Legislative Decree No. 196/2003, for the purpose of control of personal data processing. In these cases the reply is compulsory under penalty of administrative sanctions.


METHOD OF DATA PROCESSING

The personal data is processed with automated instruments for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was gathered.

Specific security measures are observed in order to prevent the loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorised access to the data.


RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTIES

The subjects to which the personal data refers have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence or non existence thereof and to know the content and origin, to verify the correctness or to request integration or updating, or rectification thereof (Art. 7 of Italian Legislative Decree No. 196/2003).

In accordance with the same article the subjects have the right to request the cancellation, transformation to anonymous form or blocking of the data processed in violation of the law, as well as to oppose in any case, for legitimate reason, the processing thereof.
